He was born in 1997 in Kazanlak, Bulgaria. Since 2016, he has been living and working in Cremona, Italy. As the son of one of the first masters of violin making in Bulgaria, Maestro Hristo Nikolov, he had the opportunity to closely observe the entire process of crafting string instruments from an early age. This experience awakened his passion and encouraged him to pursue violin making as a career.

He took his first steps in violin making at the age of 14, studying for five years at the High School of Fine Arts and Design in his hometown. After graduating in 2016, his passion for lutherie led him to Cremona, where he continued his studies at the International School of Violin Making “Antonio Stradivari.”

In July 2019, he graduated with honours and was awarded Best Student of the School twice, for the academic years 2016–2017 and 2018–2019.

He is an award-winning violin maker, currently holding 11 awards from international violin-making competitions, most of them in Italy. He takes great pride in the tradition, craftsmanship, and precision that characterize each of his instruments. With more than 12 years of experience in the making of fine instruments, he has crafted violins, violas, and cellos. Throughout his professional career, mastering new skills and meeting the needs of his clients have remained his highest priorities.
