I have a former background and work experience as civil engineer and logistics manager. Since I was a teenager I've been deeply passionate in wood carving, but only many years later I saw it as something I could build a profession on. As soon as it got clear to my mind, I quit my previous job and moved to Cremona to attend the International School of Violin making A. Stradivari, where I got the degree in 2016. After that I had some apprentice experiences with M° Alessandro Voltini and M° Massimo Negroni while specializing in cello making with an experienced luthier (Massimo Atzeni). In 2019 I arranged to have my first rented workshop with a French colleague specialized in oil varnishes (Pierre Flavetta). Then, in 2022, together with both Atzeni and Flavetta, we opened our actual workshop which is based in Cremona, in Porta Mosa in a suggestive location very close to the cathedral. During these years I've been making mainly classic authors models (Stradivari, Guarneri, Montagnana, da Salò) and some '900 Italian authors, from the Bisiach workshop in particular (Ornati, Garimberti), both antiqued and new.
